Olaolu Slawn and Soldier Boyfriend

Marni's creative vocation is once again expressed in the Fall/Winter 2025 Vol. 1 collection through the collaboration with artists Slawn and Soldier.

In this first release of the collection, the creativity of these Nigerian-born artists and Francesco Risso extends across garments through few, powerful gestures.

Wolves, tears, and tulips—along with other signifiers—punctuate the selection of shirts, chemisier dresses, skirts, and boxer shorts in striped cotton poplin, in a succession of prints and applications that enhance their materiality.

The intarsia knitwear, in vibrant colors, faithfully evokes the rich texture of tempera paints, expressing through the yarns the artistic impulse that guided the artists.

A soft brushed cotton jersey gives life to sweatshirts, t-shirts, slouchy shorts, and bags.

Captured in the shadows and sunlight of 4 Princelet Street, an old Georgian house layered with East London myths, the campaign sees Soldier and Slawn wearing the collection as both memory and artifact.
