From September 4th to 10th, Marni returns to Tokyo to present Marni Moon Market: an unpredictable pop-up store inspired by the Moon, displaying the playfulness of the brand.
Held inside Shinjuku Isetan department store, Marni Moon Market welcomes visitors in a vibrant and colorful atmosphere, allowing creativity and inspiration to become protagonists. Unconventional furniture and design objects cohabit with lifestyle accessories within a space entirely covered by bright PVC flooring in yellow, blue and purple tones, surrounded by lively blue foam walls. Imposing orange columns—populated by astronaut-shaped sculptures—characterize the interiors, leading visitors through their discovery.
Marni Moon Market offers limited-edition products, presenting a collection of bags—including hand-woven Basket Bags in PVC, striped Tote Bags, Crochet Bags in cotton and wool, and Hammocks bags that remind small hammocks—in a multiple of colors and sizes. Petite sofas, chairs, baskets, and lamps evoking spaceships created in the same material, as well as colorful cushions in PVC and a set of bandanas and bento boxes will also be available.
All products are the result of an artisanal workmanship: handcrafted by a community of artisans that collaborates with Marni since many years. Each product is unique and creatively adapts to any space.
