On the occasion of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit celebrating the "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty" exhibition, Erykah Badu wears a custom Marni silhouette envisioned by the brand’s Creative Director Francesco Risso.


American singer-songwriter and Grammy award winning artist Erykah Badu wears a hand-crafted white gown, comprised of over 90,000 meters of custom cut thread to achieve an all-over fluid fringe effect, punctuated by luminescent hand-sewn beads and crystals. The look is complemented by a matching custom-made headpiece.
